InGym: Program for integration at Gymnasium

Aktualisiert: 16. April 2025

InGym provides especially high-performing students with the possibility of learning German in one term (reaching B1+), simplifying integration into the Bavarian educational system.

Since 2023 three schools in Munich have been offering InGym-courses (see the different sites in the Bayern Atlas):

Admission is coordinated jointly, meaning registration and entrance exams take place at just one of the three schools every six months and after that the students are divided up into four groups according to age at the different locations. For the school year 2025/2026, the registration and testing procedure is organized at Gymnasium Fürstenried.

Detailed information regarding the admission procedures can be found on the school website of Gymnasium Fürstenried: https://www.gymnasium-fuerstenried.de/ingym
